Getting Started
How to fight:
Under the Actions menu, by default, the choice in the drop down menu is New Fight. New Fight is where you want to start because this is where you battle creatures to gain levels and gold. Beside New Fight there's another drop down menu with a list of creatures in it. You want to start with the easiest creature and slowly level your way up. As you move up on monsters, you get more gold per kill. Once you have the monster you want to fight selected in your menu, click SUBMIT. This will allow you to fight the creature. After you click submit, a series of 5 pictures will appear, and depending on which one you click, will determine the way you attack the creature.
Images are only visible if you have downloaded the graphics package off of http://www.racewarkingdoms.com/.
Button
Purpose
This is the attack button. It will use whatever weapon you have in your possession and equipped (ie. rusty dagger) to attack your opponent.
If you have two weapons equipped, you will attack with both of your equipped weapons.
This is the cast button. It will use whatever damage and heal spells you have equipped in either slot 1 and/or slot 2 of your inventory.
If you have two spells equipped, you will use the both, and depending on what kind of spells they are, will either heal you or harm your enemy.
This is the cast AND attack button. It will use the spell you have equipped in SLOT 1 and your best weapon to attack your enemy.
If you use a successful heal spell, you will heal first, then use your weapon on your enemy. If you use a successful damage spell, you will inflict damage with that first then get another shot at your enemy with your weapon.
This is the attack AND cast button. It is similar to the one above, but instead of casting first, you use your weapon and THEN cast. This also uses your best weapon that is equipped.
This is the defend button. It makes it twice as hard for enemies to do damage to you if you use this.
If you have relics, they will also be used when you defend.
When you first start out, all of the weapons you begin with are equipped. Equipped means that you can see them in your Inventory pictures and you are able to use them. Later on, when you either buy items, get a dropped item, or trade items from other players, you will have to equip them to be able to use them.
To equip an item you get, go to the Action drop down menu and find "Equip". When you have Equip selected, it will show you a list of all the items in your inventory. You are only allowed to have 50 items in your inventory. You get a warning when you have 45. After you have 50 and you buy an item or get a drop, it will not show up in your inventory; it is gone forever. So make sure to never overload your character with items you don't need. Your inventory list will have items that either have the word (EQUIPPED) beside them or nothing. If it has the word Equipped beside it, you can already use the item. If it doesn't, you must select the item you want to equip then, if need be, decide where to put it.
Some items, like mantles and gauntlets, only have one choice for you, which is AUTO. This means you can only have one mantle and one pair of gauntlets and one pair of boots equipped on your character at a time. If you have a weapon or shield however, it will ask you to either put it in your right hand or left hand. If you already have an item in one hand and then try to equip another item to the same hand, the item you had there first will become unequipped so the new item can take it's place. The same goes for relics and spells, you can only have one in a slot at a time.
